Balloon Dog Crochet Pattern Set

There’s a bit of Jeff Koons in all of us. Or a clown. Or both. Now you can make your very own crochet balloon dogs! These ones won’t inflate and let you down during parties or other festive activities, that’s for sure.

This pattern set features patterns for a regular balloon dog and for a balloon poodle dog.

Needed materials to make this item:
– crochet hook, size G (6) / 4.0mm
– yarn type: worsted weight / aran
– amount of yarn needed: 270m/300yd for the regular balloon dog and 280m/310yd for the poodle dog.
– tapestry/sewing needle
– fiberfill

Needed skills to make this item:
– magic ring
– chain stitches
– slip stitches
– single crochet
– increasing and decreasing
– basic sewing skills

Overall skill level: advanced beginner

Size of the finished fish:
When made with the described yarn and hook size, this balloon dog will become about 8″/20cm tall. The poodle dog will become about 10″/25cm tall.
