Inspired by the fanciest aircrafts, I designed this helicopter crochet pattern for a lovely little fellow in need of a soft and squeezable chopper toy. 🙂 Now you can make one your own with this very easy to follow and clear crochet pattern!

Needed materials to make this item:

  • crochet hook, size G (6) / 4.0mm
  • yarn type: light worsted weight / DK
  • yarn colours: blue, white, green, navy
  • tapestry/sewing needle
  • fiberfill

Needed skills to make this item:

  • magic ring
  • chain stitches
  • slip stitches
  • single crochet
  • increasing and decreasing
  • basic sewing skills

Size of finished item:
When made with the described yarn and hook size, the
helicopter will become about 15cm / 6” in length.

Overall skill level: advanced beginner.
