Crochet Pattern: XXL Christmas Tree

It’s never too early to start crocheting Christmas things, don’t you think? I love crochet Christmas decorations, so I’ve decided to design a HUGE crochet Christmas Tree. Now you can make your very own very large tree by using this very easy to follow crochet pattern. 🙂

When made with a 4mm/size G (6) crochet hook, the tree will become approx. 3ft 3″ / 100cm tall. I know, it’s enormous!

You need about 2500yd/2250m of light worsted weight yarn in dark green, and optionally about 150 grams of fluffy, glittery yarn to create the garland. There’s a brief description included in the pattern on how to make the garland, it’s really easy!

Needed materials to make this item:
– crochet hook: size G (6)/4.0mm
– yarn type: light worsted weight yarn, 2500yd/2250m
– tapestry needle
– sewing pins
– fiberfill for stuffing, approx. 1,5 to 2 kilos in weight

Needed skills to make this item:
– magic ring
– chain stitches
– slip stitches
– single crochet
– the ability to increase stitches
– basic sewing skills
